Click Function Access.
a Set the function authentication level for each function. Select Off to prevent anyone from
using a function.
b Click Submit.
Disabling the Driver to Fax menu item
1 Make sure the MFP is on.
2 Press Menu on the control panel.
3 Touch Settings Æ Fax Settings Æ Analog Fax Setup Æ Fax Send Settings.
4 Touch the down arrow.
5 Touch Driver to fax Æ Off.
6 Touch Submit.
Setting a password before printing received faxes
To prevent received faxes from being printed until a password is entered:
1 Open a Web browser. In the address line, enter the IP address of the MFP being configured
using this format: http://ip_address/.
2 Click Configuration.
3 Under Default Settings, click Fax Settings Æ Analog Fax Setup.
4 Scroll to Holding Faxes, and click it.
5 Select Always On for Held Fax Mode.
